THC trade ideas
Quickie THCSo here it goes, my first publish ever in the history of my brief life, on anything. I'm simply posting because I want to document my trades so I can improve them as time goes on.
I look for stocks whose earnings momentum carries them higher. Looking for sustained buying/selling programs and earnings surprises to the upside. I don't play the downside.
In THC's case, the chart shows looks good at first glance, even better once you look at the signs. You can see the storm brewing here for many days in the form of an elevated RSI reading with confirming MACD and EMA.
People know if a stock is gaining traction on earnings and money flows that direction like a magnet. It can't help it because the big hedge funds play this game to perfection. Big money creates waves.
So, ride a part of the wave...

THC - Long term trend Are we about to break a long term bearish trend? I like the support area and the potential break of that long term downtrend being broke here. Looks like a bullish swing trade to me.
THC and opportunityJust hit prior plateau support 4/19 to 5/01, now look for a good green candle with volume to support macd cross
THC Bullish SwingGap and Go today on Earnings. Due to the size and location of the gap, I want it to pull back in to the 50 and then bounce. You could also play it more aggressively off the 100 EMA if you're watching the Hourly and it bounces off an EMA on that time frame as well.

THC (Reports 5/1/2017 AC) IVR = 62.5, Expected move = 7.49%
COH (Reports 5/2/2017 BM) IVR = 76, Expected move = 4.89%
MO (Reports 5/2/2017 BM) IVR = 72.1, Expected move = 1.68%
Recipe for uptrend - Trendline breakout & Rounding bottom Trendline breakout, and price is moving into an initial uptrend position. Monitor for a breakout above US$19.35.
Target will be located around US$20.40-21.60.
Support will be pegged around US$18.39.
LONG THCNo surprises here. Regular set up . looking for the long. Excellent support built and looking to go higher. Strictly chart-recommendation.
