The Home Equity Loans and Lines segment includes loans secured by real estate and may entail greater risk than first-lien residential mortgage loans due to a lower lien position. The Consumer segment refers to the unsecured loans and loans secured by assets that depreciate rapidly, such as motor vehicles, and are subject to greater risk.
