NVDA Swing Long TradenVidia has become an extremely popular stock amongst market participants, and has a large potential to revolutionize the world through their AI technologies and computer processing chip sales, amongst other benefits. However, going into this uncertain time pre-election, there is potential for volatility to be present in markets before moving to higher levels. At the moment, we are still trending upwards on the longer term, with a large base / liquidity zone at my buy targets between $65-$75. There are several levels of confluence that I have for this trade: 1) Liquidity zone located at the pivot low of $75. I would look for a swing failure pattern here. 2) Gap zone from $66/$68 would be nice to fill and bounce from. 3) Trend based fib extension from the low at $91 and then swing high at $131 at the 0.618 would bring us exactly to the point of liquidity marked at $75. 4) I would like to see Bullish CVD and divergences at these prices as another confirmation to take a swing long trade. My analysis is based strictly off the technical's on the charts, and there wont be much updates here unless the alert is triggered at $75. Only time will tell!

Nvidia (NVDA) Shares Surge Over 8%Nvidia (NVDA) Shares Surge Over 8% According to the Nvidia (NVDA) stock chart, yesterday’s closing price was just below $117, compared to just over $108 the day before. The positive momentum was largely driven by the stock market’s reaction to inflation news, as mentioned earlier. For Nvidia investors, this is a clear sign that the stock is regaining its leadership position, a success attributed to CEO Jensen Huang. As Barron’s reports, at the Goldman Sachs conference in San Francisco, Huang discussed the launch of the new Blackwell chip and the return on investment for Nvidia’s clients. He mentioned that demand is so high that some companies Nvidia works with have become "emotional." Technical analysis of Nvidia's (NVDA) stock chart shows the price forming an ascending linear regression channel (shown in blue), rebounding from its lower boundary. However, bulls will need to prove their strength, as a series of resistance levels lie ahead: → The bearish gap zone around $117. → The psychological level of $130. → The upper boundary of the descending channel (shown in red). If the Federal Reserve cuts rates next week and Powell’s comments are dovish, Nvidia’s stock could break through this resistance and continue its impressive 2024 rally, which saw the price increase by around 150% in the first half of the year. Analyst forecasts remain optimistic. According to a Tipranks survey of 42 analysts, 39 recommend buying NVDA stock, with an average price target of $153.24 over the next 12 months. NVIDIA Contraction Continues- NVDA Breakout PendingNVDA remains in a massive consolidation pattern just below the record highs. Initial resistance eyed at 119.68 backed by a more significant technical confluence at 126.02/46 (61.8% extension of the August rally / August high-day close). Look for a larger reaction there IF reached with a close above needed to fuel the next leg towards 130.78 and the 100% extension at 141.52 . Key support remains unchanged at the 61.8% retracement of the April rally / August low-day close at 100.45/49 . A break below this threshold would be needed to suggest a more significant high was registered in June and shift the focus back towards a test of the 200DMA (currently ~90). Battle lines drawn . . . NVDA oversold - I triple dog dare you to bet against AIFull disclosure, I'm not taking this trade. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE it. NVDA has a great reecent track record when short-term oversold as the arrows indicate. I just have my max # of positions and I won't overextend even for NVDA. I don't imagine this pullback is done. But there has been no such thing as as a bad time to buy NVDA in the last several years, looking back now. I suspect strongly that not long after the Fed announcement, this will be overbought and profitable. This is one that if I were to buy it, I wouldn't have a minute of worry, much less lose sleep if I had to hold it for a long time to wait for it to become profitable. We are in the VERY early innings of an AI revolution. I believe this technology is as transformational as the silicon chip or the internet were, and NVDA would be as close to a core holding in that regard as there is. I have no skin in this game currently, and this is simply one man's musings on a good time to enter for a short term trade. I may need a reminder to keep this on my radar since I'm not actively trading it, so feel free to comment to ask for updates if you're interested. This is for the purposes of financial edutainment.
