NASDAQ: Bullish until March 2025.Nasdaq is overbought on the 1D timeframe (RSI = 72.532, MACD = 396.420, ADX = 56.355) and is about to do the same on the 1W as well (RSI = 69.424). This is because the Bull Cycle is on full extent. However, in anticipation of Q1 2025, we are entering the final phase of the Cycle. This is a Top sequence that we've seen three time before in the last 10 years. The early signal for this is when the 3W RSI forms overbought (RSI > 70.000) LH. Each time that happened, the index had a sharp drop to at least the 3W MA50. TP = 19,000 could be an early target. Nasdaq 100 Index Plummets After Fed DecisionNasdaq 100 Index Plummets After Fed Decision On 17th December, analysing the Nasdaq 100 chart (US Tech 100 mini on FXOpen), we: → Drew a blue upward channel relevant for 2024; → Noted that the price was near the upper boundary of the channel, while the RSI indicator had entered the overbought zone; → Suggested that bulls might face difficulties in pushing the price to a new all-time high. Yesterday, the Fed cut the interest rate by 0.25%. Although it was anticipated, the market reaction was sharply negative. The Nasdaq 100 (US Tech 100 mini on FXOpen) dropped by approximately 4%. The steep market reaction was driven by Fed Chair Jerome Powell’s comments during the press conference, where he stated that the FOMC plans to cut rates only twice in 2025, contrary to market expectations of four cuts. Technical analysis of the Nasdaq 100 (US Tech 100 mini on FXOpen) chart shows that: → The price remains in the upper half of the channel, supported by the 21,230 level, which previously acted as resistance (as indicated by arrows). → We can assume that the area around the median of the blue channel (marked by orange lines) could act as a barrier to further downward momentum, as medians often serve as equilibrium zones where supply and demand balance out. Purely TechnicalOn the close of last week Friday, nasdaq found support at 21,300-21,280… A closer examination of the 15-30min timeframe chart shows a *double bottom* chart pattern formation… Going into Monday, we’re looking of price to slightly pullback to the support zone at for buy entry. NAS100...Ever the Bullish Instrument Part 11With the last few days of 2024 upon us, this is not the time to deviate from what works and that is trading the HL's to HH's. The market has consistently shown it's hands by making HL's to HH's on the largest timeframe (Daily & Monthly) and as such has provided clear indications of what is to come for 2025. The Yearly candle, and every other candle will expire this week on Tuesday and the weekly finishing off the sequence on Friday. No sells are in the cards for me as usual. Once the HH (ATH) is finished, it's waiting on the next HL to get back in trend. With that being said...everything remains the same...HL's to HH's.
