BTC possible 30% correction before real bull run in early 2025.BTC is looking quite ready for a correction down to previous ATH. A possible $69-72k wick down, I expect $75-79k to be the actual bottom once the bottom is in, there will be serious buy pressure at these ranges. Until the rising wedge breaks down, this is NOT confirmed, I personally don't want to see this for the holiday season. Would much rather see Green candles, BTC sideways and ALT's flying! BITCOIN Keep it simple. It won't top anytime soon.This is indeed a 'keep it simple' analysis consisting of 4 charts, each displaying a Bitcoin Cycle since 2012. There is no need to overcomplicate things, the charts are pretty much self explanatory. According to all 3 prior Cycles, BTC is on a rally supported by the 1week MA50, that is just over halfway completed. It will not peak anytime soon and may very well be above $200k, even as high as $300k if the extremely optimistic scenario prevails. Questions Halving Promotors Never Want to Answer Many people here are eager to explain the bets people should make based on the halving but they're never willing to answer the obvious questions about the hypothesis. Here's a collection of questions I must have asked here 100 times in replies to my posts that I've still not gotten an answer to: Why the indices correlation? When you run an analysis on SPX price moves and BTC price moves post halving, they have a coefficient of 0.85. This means all the statistical evidence points towards BTC moving in tandem with risk on/off cycles in equities. ----- Why do people ignore this correlation when it is as reliable (or more) than the halving? Why does the exact same moves in indices and BTC get treated totally differently? When has the halving thesis ever deviated from simple SPX correlation? If there are no deviations, why isn't it best to assume it's related to SPX tracking? ----- Why would the entire market know an event to move price higher was coming and then wait an exact number of days to take action on that? If you've been in the market any length of time you'll have surely heard the saying "Buy the rumour, sell the news". You may have also heard, "Markets prefer to travel than suddenly arrive". This has been a guiding principle of all markets for all time. Why is the halving a "Sell the known coming event, then ignore the news for x days and then buy the event after the fact? ----- Given all halving dates are already known, why isn't this priced in now? Why in the biggest FOMO market there is would there be this organised "Waiting period"? Why has game theory and market dynamics not led to front running? How do these supply/demand dynamics reflect anything about S/D known in markets? ----- What are the failure conditions of the halving bet? I have some of the dumbest convos on this. People insist I MUST BE LONG NOW to not miss out on the halving and then when I ask them what level price can not go under inside of the halving theory ... it gets real fuzzy. And when you dig into it, the answer generally ends up being "Up to 70% drawdown".... Okay - so trying a short here is fine inside of that, right? ----- Why are people making all knowing statements about exactly what should happen and unable to give the most basic risk control? What happens to people who listen to you if you're wrong? Do you have plans to let them know if the theory fails? If not, why are you not telling them the risk if wrong is 70% (Inside of accepted risk). And I suppose the idea is to just entirely ignore the limitless risk if the whole thesis is wrong? ----- When has the BTC halving idea ever overcome a SPX drop? I've been told various times in 2020 there was a deviation from the halving cycle because there was a swan event. Fair enough ... but then this means that the halving forecast will only be right if nothing broadly bearish happens, right? In any instances where we've had halving theory vrs indices bear move - following the indices has won. ----- Why is this not considered evidence against the thesis and for the correlation? Why are you not caveating your forecasts with this known risk? Is it far to say the BTC cycles thesis can easily fail if there's outside events? ----- These things simply do not make sense. They're elephants in the room. People act like the cycles thing is some sort of esoteric knowledge that only a select few know. That's nonsense. I have a kid cousin who can't tie his shoelaces yet but can tell you what the halving forecast is. He does not really understand everything he's saying. He's just repeating things he's heard ... but, that's kinda true for most of you to be honest. Because it takes about 5 mins to understand the halving thesis. Takes about another 1 min to come up with the obvious tests and objections and then maybe takes 10 mins to test those and highlight the flaws. There are some people who've spent literally hours and hours on my posts berating me about why I should be blindly following the halving and in all of this time they've not answered the questions I think should be thought of in the first minute. And I do ask them. Directly and repeatedly. They change the topic or go quiet. To be honest, most of the time they start to drop insults. It's wild, when you think about it. "I am heralding in the future of finance and here to tell you about this halving cycle which I know everything about and expect to be infallible". "Okay. Could you answer a few questions I have about this?" "LMAO. Have fun staying poor". === Think about how disconnected the way BTC bulls act is relative to what they proport to be a part of. Why are you not eager to answer these common sense questions?

Bitcoin - Broader Structure and The $32K Breakdown TargetLast time, I posted an idea about Bitcoin's shorter term structure. I was scaling into a short position, and ultimately decided to close when I noticed strong support continuing to hold. This ended up being a good move, since price pushed higher towards $108k. There's a lot of resistance here in the low $100K range. While a notable milestone, it's a hefty price. More and more, Bitcoin is being seen as a tool for exploitation and wealth concentration for the wealthy, rather than something for the masses. Although good for price, this is not in keeping with the original intention behind the technology, or so we are led to believe. I tend to generally post short ideas now because I do not support buying Bitcoin, which serves only to enrichen a select few, and no longer benefits the little guy. Sure, it could benefit ME in the future, but that feeds further into greed and selfishness, which are the human flaws at the root of many market inequities, fallacies, and injustices. For more on why I changed my perspective on crypto, there are tons of ideas I've posted over the years to pull from. It essentially boils down to this: When I was young and naive, I believed crypto could be an escape from the established financial system. In many ways it is, if you like gambling on memes and adrenaline coursing through your veins. But on a broader level, it's been co-opted by the same forces that control our traditional markets, institutions, and to an extent, our wellbeing. More and more, crypto seems to fit into a neo-feudalist dystopia, rather than a free-flowing renaissance utopia. Earlier this year, I closed my original short positions when it seemed likely for Bitcoin to surpass its previous all time high. Now that price has hit a major milestone, altcoins have gone up 500-1000%, and gloating is abounds, it's time for me to re-enter my short. Now, I'm not looking to profit massively from this. It's a small position. But, I am of the belief that there is a non-negligible probability that Bitcoin will enter a longer term bearish trend. Whether it's now or at $160k, who knows? If this trendline can break decisively (it's held very well so far, even when price drops below), the next stop seems to be around $89k. From there, a bounce would be bullish. My green arrow shows the possibility of rally resumption if that level holds as strong support. On the bearish side, the previous all-time high is the next major level, followed by $32k if the entire support structure falls apart. Markets are starting to wake up and understand that inflation isn't going away quickly, and monetary policy won't be as easy as it was. A lot of fluff needs to get weeded out. Unfortunately, crypto doesn't have much SUBSTANCE to it (meaning goods, resources, and services) attached to it. As always this is meant for speculation and entertainment only! Historically, in bull markets, weekly RSI staying elevated for an extended period is common, so overbought conditions don’t necessarily mean an immediate reversal. Moving Averages: 50-Week SMA: Trending sharply upward and currently around $73,000, reinforcing it as a key support level. 200-Week SMA: Sits far below around $49,000, marking the long-term bull/bear cycle boundary. Key Thoughts: Parabolic Move and Healthy Pullback: Bitcoin’s sharp rally suggests we are entering the euphoric stage of the bull market, where strong upward moves can happen in a short period. However, parabolic moves often lead to steep pullbacks for reaccumulation. A retest of the $73,835 support zone would be healthy and expected. 4-Year Cycle Alignment: This move aligns with the Bitcoin 4-year halving cycle. Historically, BTC experiences significant upward momentum in the year leading up to and after the halving. If the pattern holds, Bitcoin could target new highs over the next 6–12 months. Price Discovery Mode: With BTC breaking above all historical levels, there is no technical resistance to cap price movement. Psychological levels such as $120,000 and $150,000 could act as round-number resistance targets. Bitcoin remains firmly bullish on the weekly chart, with price discovery underway and no historical resistance. While short-term overbought conditions suggest caution, the macro uptrend remains intact as long as BTC holds above $73,835. Dips into key support zones should be viewed as buying opportunities. Long-term targets include $120,000–$150,000 if the 4-year cycle continues to play out.

Bitcoin BEARISH - BTC Strong Resistance On Weekly TFBitcoin has reached strong resistance on the weekly TF. The resistance line goes the whole way back to 2017. So it's very reliable. A strong move downwards is very likely! Based on previous times this line was tested, Bitcoin could fall 50% or more. However, the 74000-75000 level looks like a good support level. This would be about a 30% drop which is still very significant. I expect profit taking very soon and short sellers to come in. There could possibly even be global headline news to cause this drop. Be very careful in buying near the tops. Trade with your brain and not emotions. This is only an idea and anything can happen, but it's a weekly chart and seems very reliable.

Bitcoin Ascending Bullflag Breakout Target 140kI am still expecting significant resistance in the 120-130k range so to see this having a full target of 140k is pretty wild to me. Perhaps we have. Correction before reaching its full breakout target, or perhaps price sends a large wick above the resistance up there to hit this target before that resistance rejects price for a significant correction. BTC's Nice BounceBitcoin had a bad day. So did everything else. This was one of the worst days in recent memory for stocks, the Dow Jones is on a historic downturn and volatility rose dramatically. And Bitcoin is still $102,000. Think about that. From a technical perspective, Bitcoin looks great. We now have more potential hidden bullish divergence with RSI, price bounced RIGHT at support and closed back above $100K. Nothing here scares me, and the market’s first reaction to the FOMC or other news is usually wrong.
