Description
---------------------------------------------------------------
+ ETH has been trading within a range for over 2 months now.
+ The highest price reached was around $2800, and the lowest was in the $2100 range.
+ Currently, the price is in a downtrend, heading towards the support zone around the $2200 level.
+ We can expect an immediate reversal from the $2200 range.
+ This seems to be the final downtrend for ETH, and once it bounces from the support, we can anticipate it reaching the resistance zone and potentially breaking out with ease.
+ Let's see how this scenario unfolds.

Is EUR/USD oversold? Time to Buy?Is EUR/USD oversold? Time to Buy?
EUR/USD has been experiencing a robust downtrend on the 30-minute chart since 30 September. This bearish movement was triggered after the pair encountered a significant resistance area, forming a double top configuration on the daily chart.
From a 30-minute perspective, EUR/USD has remained on the same side of the 200-period moving average for 710 candles, indicating that the pair may be in an oversold condition and that the downtrend could be maturing. Statistically, most directional movements typically accumulate between 300 and 400 candles on one side of the 200-period moving average.
Shift from Seller to Buyer Interest:
Since the inception of the downtrend, this marks the first instance where EUR/USD has made an upward move that corresponds to the preceding downward move. This development signals a potential shift in market sentiment from bearish to bullish and could also be interpreted as a bullish engulfing pattern.
Currently, EUR/USD is situated in the 38.2% Fibonacci retracement level on the 30-minute chart, which may serve as a support zone.
Key Levels to Monitor:
The main areas of interest for today are 1.0830 and 1.0850, which have the potential to support the price action. A buying opportunity could materialise if EUR/USD manages to break above 1.0855. Should this occur, it may lead to an upward movement towards the 1.0945 area later this week.
Conversely, an alternative scenario may unfold if EUR/USD breaks below 1.0820, which could prompt a decline towards the 1.0775 region within the week.
Treading Carefully Amidst Potential Changes
In summary, while EUR/USD is currently entrenched in a downtrend, emerging indicators and patterns suggest the possibility of a trend reversal. Traders should remain vigilant around the critical levels mentioned, as these will be pivotal in determining the pair's next movements.

EU Double Top Breaks Rising Support, 300+ Pip Sell Set-Up!Here I have FX:EURUSD on the Daily Chart!
After last weeks Double Top was Confirmed, we see Price make a Bearish Break to and through the Rising Support created by the April, June and August Lows.
-The Testing Candle alone generates ~500K in Selling Volume making the Rising Support weak enough to then Break Down to where price sits now.
Applying the Fibonacci Retracement Tool from the Higher High @ 1.12138 to the Lower Low @ 1.08107, we can see a couple things:
*23.6% Level sits right at the 200 EMA which is curving down and Price is now trading Below
*38.2% Level sits right in the center of the Resistance Zone created from the March Highs
*50% Level is at the Higher Low that was Broken to Confirm the Double Top
I suspect that Price will need to Retest the Break of Rising Support before it can continue to Push Down!
Potential Set-Up: Sell Entry
1.09058 (23.6%) - 1.09647 (38.2%)
SL - 1.10112 (50%)
TP - 1.0665
SWING IDEA - MAWANASUGStock has currently formed a good support at 116 levels.
It seems to making newer Higher Highs since the last few weeks steadily.
The most recent MACD Crossover has shown a good move upward.
Currently the MACD Cross is in play on the Monthly Charts. Once it completes successfully, the stock could start seeing massive movement upward in the coming weeks/month.
Uptrend or Fadeout? Learn the Key to Catching Market Breakouts1. Recognizing Market Structures: Uptrends and Downtrends
Higher Highs (HH) and Higher Lows (HL):
These are signs the market is in an uptrend—prices keep moving up, forming new highs (peaks) and lows (dips) that are higher than the previous ones.
Think of it like climbing stairs: each step higher shows the market’s strength.
Lower Highs (LH) and Lower Lows (LL):
When prices stop climbing and start forming lower peaks and lower dips, it signals that the market might be slowing down or reversing into a downtrend.
In the chart:
The first part shows a bullish (upward) move with Higher Highs and Higher Lows.
Later, the market shifts to lower highs, signaling a potential slowdown or shift toward a downward move.
2. What Is the LQZ (Liquidity Zone)?
Liquidity Zone (LQZ): This is a key price area where a lot of trading activity happens—like a hotspot where buyers and sellers clash.
When price reaches such a zone, it either breaks through and keeps moving in that direction (bullish continuation) or bounces back down (rejection).
Think of it like a soccer goal line: if the ball crosses the line, the team scores a goal (bullish move); if it’s blocked, the ball goes the other way (bearish move).
In the chart:
The LQZ is highlighted as the key level to watch. A clean breakout (with more than just a quick spike or wick) signals that buyers are strong enough to push the market higher.
If the price gets rejected at this zone, the sellers regain control, and the market might move down.
3. Scenarios: What Happens Next?
The chart offers two possible outcomes based on how price behaves near the LQZ.
Bullish Scenario:
If the price breaks above the LQZ and stays there, it’s likely to continue upward towards:
Target 1: 2,661.38
Target 2: 2,673.60
These are the next levels where buyers might take profits or where new sellers could appear.
Bearish Scenario:
If the price gets rejected at the LQZ and drops lower, it could move towards:
Bearish Target 1: 2,569.49
Bearish Target 2: 2,546.25
This suggests the sellers have taken control, pushing the market down.
4. How to Know When to Enter a Trade?
The chart highlights the importance of waiting for confirmation before jumping into a trade. Here’s a simple trade plan:
For a Buy (Long) Trade:
Wait until the price breaks above the LQZ and stays above it.
Enter on the first pullback (dip) after the breakout—this is often called a flag or retest.
For a Sell (Short) Trade:
If the price gets rejected at the LQZ, wait for a clear downward movement.
Enter after the first lower high forms, confirming that the sellers are in control.
Why wait for confirmation?
Jumping in too early might cause you to get caught in a false breakout or fake move. Think of it like waiting to see which team scores first before betting on the game.
5. Avoid Emotional Trading and Manage Risk
This chart reflects a key lesson: trading is a game of patience and probabilities.
If the trade doesn't go as expected, it’s important to step back and wait for the next opportunity.
Don’t chase trades just because you fear missing out (FOMO). You might enter too soon and hit your stop loss unnecessarily.
Risk Management Tip:
Use stop losses to protect your account from big losses.
Avoid placing multiple risky trades on the same pair just because you’re impatient. It’s better to wait for high-probability setups.
6. Summary: A Simple Trading Plan
Watch the LQZ level:
If the price breaks above, look to buy on the next dip.
If the price gets rejected, look to sell when it starts forming lower highs.
Set Clear Targets:
For bullish trades, aim for Target 1 and 2 above.
For bearish trades, aim for Bearish Targets 1 and 2 below.
Don’t Rush:
Wait for clear confirmation before entering.
Follow your trading plan and avoid emotional decisions.
Title: Key Support Levels for Short and Long Positions: CriticalIt seems we have experienced enough upward momentum, and now, with the support level at 66,842, a short position can be considered. However, since this position goes against the main trend, it’s crucial to set a tight stop-loss to manage risk and ensure an early exit with a favorable risk-reward ratio. The next support level for this strategy could be 65,359.8.
On the other hand, if you're planning to open a long position, you might consider entering at 67,898.7, but be cautious with the stop-loss placement. A wider stop-loss would be advisable, possibly below 66,687.4, to allow room for market fluctuations.
KAS Long Position (Support Retest)Market Context: KAS has retraced into a strong support zone, offering a solid opportunity to enter a spot trade position.
Trade Setup:
Entry: Ladder into a spot trade between $0.13 - $0.133.
Take Profit:
First target: $0.15 - $0.157
Second target: $0.17 - $0.18
Stop Loss: Just below $0.125.
This setup takes advantage of the support zone for a favorable risk-to-reward ratio. #KAS #Crypto #Support
NZDUSD ready to go up after failing to make new lows?NZD/USD has experienced a decline of 5.12% since 27 September, establishing a bearish trend line on the 4-hour chart. However, on 10 October, the pair began to break out of this bearish trend line, signalling a potential pause in the prevailing bearish momentum.
On 15 October, NZD/USD retraced, forming a double bottom pattern on the 4-hour chart. Notably, the price was unable to breach the previous support level of 0.6050, suggesting stabilisation in the market.
The Relative Strength Index (RSI) indicated a value of 21.06 on 24 September. By 15 October, the RSI had risen to 34.10, demonstrating higher lows in the RSI while the price made lower lows — a condition that characterises classical bullish divergence.
CPI Data and Its Impact
From a macroeconomic perspective, the release of the Consumer Price Index (CPI) data came in lower than expected (0.6% actual versus 0.7% forecast), which tends to be negative for the NZD and that is what caused the downward movement on October 15th. However, since the price failed to break below the previous low, this shows that the selling force is currently showing signs of exhaustion.
Key Elements to Consider:
1. Significant downward movement since 27 September, resulting in a depreciation of over 5% in NZD/USD.
2. RSI reading below 30 on 10 October, suggesting exhaustion of the selling momentum.
3. Breakout from the downtrend line on the 4-hour chart.
4. Formation of a double bottom pattern on the 4-hour chart.
5. Classical bullish divergence is observed on the 4-hour chart.
Potential for Ascendancy
Given the above elements, if NZD/USD manages to surpass the 0.6090 level, it is likely that the currency pair will ascend towards the 0.6160 region within the coming days, where it may face temporary resistance.
A Bullish Turn on the Horizon?
In conclusion, while recent indicators and patterns suggest a potential bullish reversal for NZD/USD, traders should remain cautious of external factors that may influence market dynamics. As always, close monitoring of price action and macroeconomic developments will be key in navigating this trading opportunity.

Price ActionIn our trading strategy, we focus on 4H identifying key supply order blocks created when the price moves downward. When the price retraces and revisits this supply order block, we will look for additional confirmation signals to enter a sell trade. This approach allows us to capitalize on potential reversals in the market while managing risk effectively.
Steps to Execute the Strategy:
Identify the Supply Order Block:
Monitor the price action for a significant decline that creates a clear supply order block. This area represents where selling interest has accumulated.
Wait for a Retracement:
Once the price moves away from the order block, we will wait for it to retrace back to this zone. A successful retest of the supply order block is crucial for our entry.
Confirm the Trade Signal:
As the price approaches the supply order block, we look for additional confirmation signals, such as bearish candlestick patterns, divergence, or other technical indicators. This confirmation is essential to ensure a higher probability of a successful trade.
Enter the Sell Trade:
Upon receiving confirmation, we will execute a sell order at the supply order block. Proper risk management strategies, including stop-loss placement, should be applied to protect our capital.

📈GBPUSD has been overall bullish, trading inside the rising wedge in orange.
Moreover, it is approaching a structure marked in green.
🏹 The highlighted blue circle is a strong area to look for buy setups as it is the intersection of the structure and lower orange trendline acting as a non-horizontal support.

Dollar rally slows after jobless claims; EURUSD ready to rise?EUR/USD has just touched a key support zone on the daily chart between 1.0900 and 1.0950, an area that previously acted as resistance in March and July 2024 but now appears to be turning into support.
Yesterday’s candle formed a long lower shadow, signaling a possible rejection of selling pressure and a hint of buying strength. Additionally, the 1.0950 level aligns with the 61.8% bullish Fibonacci retracement on the daily chart, further reinforcing the potential for support.
A little further down, the 200-day Simple Moving Average (SMA) appears to be strengthening the whole area and increasing the possibility of it working as a support level.
Several factors are currently converging around the 1.0950 mark:
1. EUR/USD is in a former resistance area, which now appears to be functioning as support on the daily chart.
2. The 61.8% Fibonacci bullish level is present at 1.0950.
3. The 200-day SMA adds strength to the support zone.
4. A daily candle with a long lower shadow suggests initial buying strength.
Higher-than-expected US inflation data leads to short-term strength in USD, fades after jobless claims
From a macroeconomic perspective, the release of CPI data in the US, which came in higher than expected, initially boosted the US dollar at the start of the trading session. However, optimism about the dollar faded by the end of the day, causing the price to retrace and leave a long shadow on the daily candle.
This shift was driven by higher-than-expected Initial Jobless Claims (258,000 actual vs. 231,000 forecast), reminding investors that the Federal Reserve is balancing two objectives: controlling inflation while protecting the labour market. As a result, despite higher inflation, the Fed may remain lenient to support job growth in the short term.
Based on these factors, if EURUSD manages to break above the 1.0960 level, it may rise to 1.1010 and 1.1090 over the next few days.
Alternatively, if EURUSD breaks below 1.0890, it could fall to 1.0775, where a significant support area is likely to be found.

Mastering Support and Resistance: An Essential Tools for SuccessSupport and resistance are cornerstone principles in trading, offering crucial insights into price dynamics and market behavior. These levels act as key indicators, signaling points where an asset's price is likely to either pause or reverse direction. Support refers to the price level where strong demand prevents further declines, while resistance marks the point where selling pressure halts a price rise. Understanding and effectively utilizing these concepts can make a significant difference in trading success.
In the realm of technical analysis, which focuses on using historical market data to predict future price movements, understanding support and resistance is essential. Traders rely on these levels to pinpoint optimal trade entry and exit points while also managing risk effectively. By recognizing where the market may reverse or maintain its trajectory, traders can craft more robust strategies.
Decoding Support and Resistance Levels
Support and resistance levels are vital price points on a chart that traders use to forecast future market behavior. Support represents a level where a downtrend is likely to pause, driven by a concentration of buying interest. In other words, it's the price point where demand is strong enough to stop further declines. For instance, if a stock repeatedly drops to $100 and then bounces back, $100 becomes a recognized support level.
On the flip side, resistance is the price level where an uptrend often halts due to a high volume of sellers. Unlike support, resistance is where selling pressure overpowers buying interest, preventing prices from climbing further. If a stock consistently hits $150 and then retreats, $150 serves as a resistance level.
Example Support and Resistance on Silver
These levels are significant because they represent psychological thresholds for market participants. When prices approach support, buyers may step in, seeing it as a good entry point. Conversely, when prices near resistance, sellers might take action, expecting the price to struggle moving higher. Understanding how these levels work helps traders refine their timing and make more informed decisions.
The Impact of Support and Resistance in Technical Analysis
Support and resistance are pivotal in technical analysis, guiding traders in interpreting market movements and predicting future price trends. These levels act as psychological barriers that help determine whether a price trend will persist or reverse.
For example, if a stock repeatedly approaches a resistance level but fails to break through, traders may interpret this as strong selling pressure and consider selling or shorting the asset. Conversely, if a price consistently rebounds off a support level, traders might see it as a buying opportunity.
Example Resistance and Support on Apple Stock
Visual tools like charts and diagrams are indispensable for identifying support and resistance levels. By drawing horizontal lines at points where the price has historically reversed, traders can easily spot critical levels and predict potential market movements. These visual aids enhance decision-making by providing a clear picture of where key price barriers lie.
The Crucial Role of Support and Resistance Levels in Trading Strategies
Support and resistance levels are the foundation of successful trading strategies, offering traders the tools to optimize entry and exit points, maximize profits, and manage risks effectively.
For example, when a price hovers near a support level, a trader might take a long position, anticipating a rise in value. Simultaneously, they could place a Stop Loss just below the support level to limit potential losses if the price unexpectedly drops. Similarly, resistance levels provide invaluable insights for deciding when to exit trades or set profit targets. If a price approaches resistance, it might be wise to close a position to secure gains or prepare for a possible reversal.
Understanding and identifying support and resistance levels also play a vital role in risk management. Setting Stop Loss orders near these levels helps traders protect their capital from significant losses if the market turns against them. This disciplined approach not only enhances profitability but also promotes long-term success in trading.
Different Forms of Support and Resistance
Support and resistance levels come in various forms, each providing unique perspectives on market behavior. The most common types include horizontal levels, trendlines, and moving averages.
--Horizontal Support and Resistance: These levels are drawn at points where the price has consistently reversed in the past, making them straightforward and widely recognized.
Horizontal Resistance on Tesla Stock
--Trendline Support and Resistance: Trendlines connect a series of higher lows in an uptrend or lower highs in a downtrend, acting as dynamic support and resistance. In an uptrend, the trendline can signal buying opportunities, while in a downtrend, it might serve as resistance.
Trendline Support on EUR/USD
--Moving Averages: Moving averages, such as the 50-day or 200-day average, often act as support or resistance. For instance, during an uptrend, a pullback to the 50-day moving average can indicate a buying opportunity.
Moving Averages Used as Support and Resistance on USD/CAD
How to Identify Key Support and Resistance Levels
To identify strong support and resistance levels, traders use several strategies:
--Spot Price Clusters: Look for areas where the price consistently reverses direction, signaling strong support or resistance zones.
--Use Technical Indicators: Tools like Fibonacci retracements help identify potential reversal levels during pullbacks by dividing a price move into key percentages (38.2%, 50%, and 61.8%).
Fibonacci Tool used as Support and Resistance areas on DXY
Common Pitfalls When Using Support and Resistance in Trading
While support and resistance are essential, there are common mistakes traders should avoid:
--Over-Reliance on Exact Numbers: Support and resistance are better viewed as zones rather than exact values. Prices may fluctuate slightly above or below these levels before reversing.
--Ignoring Confirmation Signals: Jumping into trades without confirmation can lead to losses. Always look for signs like candlestick patterns or increased volume to confirm that the level will hold.
--Chasing Breakouts Too Hastily: Not all breakouts result in sustained trends. Waiting for confirmation, such as increased volume, helps avoid being caught in a false breakout.
--Impatience: Many traders act prematurely at support or resistance levels. Patience is key—stick to your trading plan and wait for the right setup.
Advanced Strategies for Support and Resistance Trading
For more experienced traders, support and resistance levels can serve as the basis for advanced strategies:
--Breakouts: A breakout occurs when the price moves above resistance or below support, often signaling the start of a new trend. Confirming breakouts with increased volume helps reduce the risk of false signals.
Breakout Confirmation on BTC
--Fakeouts: Prices may temporarily breach support or resistance before reversing direction. Advanced traders capitalize on these by waiting for the price to return within the range and then taking positions in the opposite direction.
Fakeouts on BTC
--Reversals: Traders use reversal strategies when the price changes direction after hitting support or resistance, often signaling the start of a new trend.
Area $72000 resistance used as reversal on BTC
Conclusion
Mastering support and resistance levels is vital for any trader aiming for long-term success. These concepts are the backbone of technical analysis, guiding traders in making informed decisions about when to enter, exit, and manage risks. By understanding and identifying key support and resistance zones, traders can predict price movements, spot opportunities, and refine their strategies.
Incorporating technical analysis into your trading routine will boost your confidence in navigating the market. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned trader, honing your skills with support and resistance can lead to more disciplined and profitable trading.
Long AVAXTraders,
Though the indicator is weak having not received full confirmation at the time of this post, I have chosen to go long AVAX once again. AVAX is one of my favorite alts and from the chart we can see that we have several good support underneath us.
First, there is that ascending trendline. Secondly, we have that VRVP PoC. And the third indicator is not seen on this chart. We have many coins flipping green today. Visit my weekly update for more on what I am seeing on a macro scale. I posted this update yesterday.
Again traders, keep in mind I am earlier in entry than I normally feel comfortable with on this trade. I really would like to see a strong cross of the MA on the RSI chart. Thus, entry risk is a bit higher. Trade accordingly.
Head and SouldersXRP retraced, settling itself at a lower low and a new resistance. A head and shoulders formed, signaling a rally short trade. I believe XRP will bounce and retrace, possibly dropping below $0.50. The previous head and shoulders from Nov 23 to Jan 24 caused XRP to dip below $0.50, and then it rallied after the dip. The previous head and shoulders formed in a 3-month window, identical to its recent head and shoulders that started at the beginning of July 2024.

Head and Shoulders with price retestA drastic dip occurred with week buy action. FTM value has been reset to the low 0.60 zone. I expect a price bounce from the head and shoulder retract. I called a head and shoulder earlier this week on the XRP chart, and FTM has also followed that trend. 20MA and 200MA are still playing the break for all long positions. The moving average holds uptober excitement, but we will have to wait and see if it will hold strength and value next week.
